Sodium nitroprusside (SNP), Dihydrate, is a nitric oxide donor/releaser and potent vasodilator, which has been reported to reduce lipid peroxidation-induced membrane damage, and is believed to exert its vasodilating activity throμgh the vascular activation of nitric oxide. SNP is useful for quantitative ammonium analysis, as well as chromatographic detection of cystine-containing peptides. It has also been reported to be beneficial in maintaining post-thaw sperm viability and motion for up to 6 hours, which has been attributed to the reduction of lipid peroxidative damage to the sperm membrane substances.检定醛酮类、锌、二氧化硫和碱金属硫化物。色层分析,尿液检验。
